The Adventures of Robin Hood The following 5 books were published by Adprint as a direct result of the TV series. Our thanks go to Charles Laing who provided the images from his collection and helped with the details of the episode guides. Both Number 1 and 2 include photographs from the series, whilst the remaining books have only comic strip style illustrations. The later books also include a mixture of real and made up episodes (identified with an *). |

First published in 1956, this edition from Puffin dates back to 1972. The author has retold the legend of Robin Hood from a number of sources. One of my favourite reads. (MS) |

This edition published by Hamlyn Publishing Group in 1979, this edition by Treasure Press in 1989. Those who watch Time Team will know of Victor Ambrus and his wonderful recreations. This book is worth obtaining just for the illustrations that Victor has contributed. (MS) |
