| Wisley Common Foxwarren Park Pencoed Castle |
Foxwarren Park Estate, near Cobham
Owned by the producer Hannah Weinstein, played an important role in the
filming of the later episodes of “The Adventures”.
Many scenes in the series were filmed in the grounds of the estate, where a replica castle was erected.

Stills showing the meadow and castle from the episode "The Crusaders". But is that Richard Greene or is it his double, Terry Yorke?

We think that the
Foxwarren House itself appeared in the series – but where?
Does anyone know?
The horses used
during the filming were kept in the stables at Foxwarren.
The projection room
– a soundproof building where the rushes were viewed.
The projection room
contains many props used in “The Adventures” and in other TV series produced
by Hannah Weinstein at the time. Here
are some of them – if you can identify in which episodes they appear, please
let us know!
