The Adventures of Robin Hood Appreciation Society

Hello and welcome to the site which is a direct result of a post on the Whirligig message board back in 2002, 'I'd like to hear from anyone who is crazy about the series as me - to talk about trivia, memories etc.' - AF.  

At that time we were looking for like-minded people who either enjoyed the series the first time round, during repeats in the sixties and early nineties and now, of course, following the complete release of the programmes by Network on DVD.  

And as a group we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of that first transmission back in 1955 at Cobham on the weekend of the 23rd - 25th September 2005.  You will find the Anniversary Report in Issue 9 of our online magazine.

The ultimate aim of the site was to provide both resource information from the original programmes and an online magazine that will allow 'fellow outlaws' to continue to enjoy the series.   Unfortunately we have not been able to keep the magazine going due to members other commitments; however it is hoped that updates to existing information will still be maintained and the site remains available for those who wish to reminisce or those who have just discovered the ‘real’ Robin Hood.

However, the search still continues for those pieces of information, stories, articles, in fact anything that relates to the series so that we can continue to add to these web page resources.  Simply email us at trhas@hotmail.com.

Those 'fellow outlaw' who wish partake of any active discussions, can do so on the Whirligig Message Board.  There is a section set aside for ‘The Adventures of Robin Hood’.
