The Adventures of Robin Hood Appreciation Society

Hello and welcome to the site which is a direct result of a post on the Whirligig message board back in 2002, 'I'd like to hear from anyone who is crazy about the series as me - to talk about trivia, memories etc.' - AF.  

We are looking for like-minded people who either enjoyed the series the first time round, during repeats in the sixties and early nineties and now, of course, following the complete release of the programmes by Network on DVD.  

As a  group we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of that first transmission back in 1955 at Cobham on the weekend of the 23rd - 25th September 2005.  You will find the Anniversary Report in Issue 9 of our online magazine.

The ultimate aim of the site is to provide both resource information from the original programmes and an online magazine that will allow 'fellow outlaws' to continue to enjoy the series.  

So you wish to become a 'fellow outlaw'.  Well, this appreciation society is like no other.  No money  need change hands to join, we only ask that you partake of the active discussions on the Whirligig Message Board.  

However, we would love you to provide us with snippets of information, stories, articles, in fact anything that relates to the series so that we can build up our web page resources and produce an entertaining online magazine for all to enjoy.  Simply email us at trhas@hotmail.com.
